The Last Exorcist represents the proliferation of horror trailer in contemporary media, in contrast to the era in which horror was first discovered, the Last exorcism represents the development of technology and creativity especially in regards to production companies as horror films are becoming more interactive with their audience moreover, technology has granted audiences with a variety of methods of consumption for instance, the internet, mobile phones cinemas and the television are methods of consumption which would as a result increase the circulation of horror and potentially a revolution (3D). The film is told from the perspective of a disillusioned evangelical minister, who after years of performing exorcisms decides to participate in a documentary chronicling his last exorcism while exposing the fraud of his ministry. After receiving a letter from a farmer asking for help in driving out the devil, he meets the farmer's afflicted daughter.
